Andre Sooklal is a multi-talented football media entrepreneur, analyst, and content creator whose journey through the worlds of football, media, and broadcasting has been nothing short of dynamic. With over 9 years of experience across professional football, broadcasting, analytics, and content production, Andre has built EXTV into one of the Caribbean’s most influential independent sports media platforms.
🔹 Early Foundations (2012–2015)
Andre’s journey began on the field as both a player and staff member for the University of Trinidad & Tobago (UTT) football team, helping them secure a league title in 2012. By 2015, he transitioned into a dual role at Central FC during their historic TT Pro League title win, contributing in both marketing and sporting operations as an intern.
🔹 Building Experience (2016–2020)
Andre expanded his footprint across the football industry:
Data Scout with Perform | Opta, collecting match intelligence and statistical data.
TV Anchor on Flow Sports Caribbean and Guest Analyst on CNC3 and SportsMax.
Media Consulatant & Production with the Trinbago Knight Riders, overseeing content, documentaries, and social campaigns during their undefeated CPL 2020 championship season.
Worked in coaching, analysis, and esports promotion, showcasing his versatility in digital storytelling and strategic content.
🔹 National & International Growth (2021–2023)
Andre played a key role as Analyst and Media Officer for the Trinidad & Tobago Senior Women’s National Team, appointed by Head Coach Kenwyne Jones. The team successfully qualified for the Concacaf W Championship in Monterrey, Mexico (2022).
🔹 Establishing EXTV & Global Impact (2020–Present)
As the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of EXTV, Andre has steered the brand to national prominence through exclusive interviews, matchday coverage, and digital campaigns. James Baird
Is an ex-Scottish goalkeeper who has played all over the globe, inclusive of Scotland, England, Faroe Islands and Iceland, among others and has also coached in Trinidad and Tobago and Iceland.
He brings his unique experience with a Scottish twist from the football and the media world to EXTV. His youthful coaching perspective along with his footballing expertise puts us above all our competitors.
As well as coaching several national programs, he has also been involved in commentating on local, Caribbean and international matches for various Caribbean media houses. All these traits make him a very unique addition to the EXTV team.
