Levi Garcia continues his excellent form by scoring a brace in the Greek Cup match-up against rivals Olympiacos F.C. The talented winger from Santa Flora, Trinidad & Tobago has been in great shape and opened the scoring in just the 3rd minute with a low shot from inside the box following a pass from Steven Zuber. Levi got his second goal in the last minutes of the second half to secure a 3-0 win in 1st leg of the semi-final of 2022-23 Novibet Greek Cup.
AEK Athens coached by former Argentina international Matias Almeyda now sits in 2nd place in the Greek Super League. Levi Garcia who made an instant impact when he made his senior men’s national debut for Trinidad & Tobago also scored a brace continues a fine run of form and naturally the questions are being asked about him moving on to possibly one of the bigger leagues in Europe.
Although he started with AZ Alkmaar back in 2016 he has travelled around and seems to have really found his footing again after a few injuries. Those who have known him from his early days would not be surprised by his current form. With upcoming Concacaf Nations League games coming up and the newly available qualifying spots for the next World Cup, the current coach of the Trinidad & Tobago senior men’s team will no doubt be all smiles seeing one of his main players performing at this level in a European League.
