Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz edged Trinidad and Tobago 3-2 in a pulsating Unity Cup 2025 semi-final at the Gtech Community Stadium on Tuesday night, securing a dramatic victory with a 94th-minute penalty.
The action-packed encounter saw Jamaica take a 2-0 lead through goals from Kasey Palmer (25’ pen) and Rumarn Burrell (53’), before Trinidad & Tobago roared back with strikes from Isaiah Leacock (54’) and Kevin Molino (69’) to level the match.

With extra time looming, Jamaica were awarded a second penalty in stoppage time. Richard King held his nerve to convert, booking their spot in the final in spectacular fashion.
The Reggae Boyz now await the winner of Wednesday’s second semi-final between Nigeria and Ghana in what promises to be a thrilling Unity Cup 2025 finale.
